HTML Viewer

Paste or type HTML, CSS and JavaScript and see the page update as you type. Everything runs in your browser, so your code never leaves your device.

How to use HTML Viewer

  1. 1Add your code

Paste HTML into the editor, type it, or open a .html file from your computer.

  2. 2See it live

The preview updates as you type. Switch to tablet or phone width, and check the console for errors.

  3. 3Copy or download

Copy the code, or download it as a .html file you can open in any browser.

Common questions

Is my code uploaded anywhere?

No. The editor and the preview both run inside your browser. Nothing you type or open is sent to a server.

Can I use CSS and JavaScript?

Yes. Put CSS in a <style> tag and JavaScript in a <script> tag, or link files from the web. console.log() output and errors show in the Console under the preview.

Is it safe to run code I found online?

The preview runs in a locked-down frame that can't read this site, your cookies or your other tabs. Still, only run code you trust, as you would anywhere else.

Why do links open in a new tab?

The preview can't leave the page, so links to other sites open in a new tab. Links to a section of the same page (like #contact) scroll the preview.
