How to use Protect PDF

Is my PDF or password sent anywhere?
No. Encryption happens inside your browser. Neither the file nor the password ever leaves your device.
How strong is the protection?
Files are encrypted with AES-256, the strongest standard PDF encryption, supported by Adobe Reader, browsers and phone viewers.
What if I forget the password?
Then the file can't be opened, and we can't recover it because we never see your password. Keep your original unprotected copy somewhere safe.
